Services will be held at the Church of Christ, 2912 N. Chester Ave., on Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. for Louise Virginia Smith, 80, who passed away March 1, 2006, in Bakersfield. Interment will be on Monday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd. Mr. Ellery Litterell will officiate.

Mrs. Smith was born on November 26, 1925, in Norman, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 67 years.

She worked as a clerical clerk for 12 years.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Smith, parents Wilford and Martha Todd and brothers, Joe and John Todd.

She is survived by her sons Ron Smith and James Smith and daughter and son-in-law Lou Anna and Norman Gann; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation begins today, Friday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.
