Kenneth Thurston Rousey

Kenneth Thurston Rousey, 75, went to be with his Lord Friday, May 26, 2006 at 5 p.m in the Veterans Hospital at Oklahoma City.
He had recently moved to Norman from Duncan, Oklahoma, where he had lived most of his life. He was a machinist for Halliburton Oil for nearly thirty years.
Kenneth was born in Blanchard, Okla. Jan 2, 1931. His parents were Willis Verden Rousey and Eunice Erie (Thurston) Rousey.
He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1949. Shortly after graduating he joined the U.S. Navy as a radarman on the carrier ship Lytle.
He married Wenoah Dean Thompson Nov 4, 1950. Mr. Rousey is survived by his wife, Wenoah of Norman; one daughter, Pamela Sue Wetsell of Norman; two sons, John & James Rousey of Duncan; six grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Albert and Lorene Evanson of Chickasha, on niece, one nephew, several cousins & friends.
Services were private.
Interment was in the Veteran's Cemetery at Elgin, Oklahoma.
Donations can be made in his honor to the Heart or Diabetes Association of Oklahoma.
