Mary Ellen (Moore) Waldron
age 86 of Noble went to be with her Savior Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home in Noble. She was born February 8, 1928 in Lequire, Oklahoma. Mary was the 3rd child of five children born to James David Moore and Lettie Isabelle (Harp) Moore. Mary grew up in Eastern, Oklahoma in the Sanbois Mountains. At the age of 16 she met the love of her life, Raymond Waldron. On July 14th after just three short weeks they were married in Bakersfield, CA. This year, July 2014, they would have been married 70 years. Mary and Ray raised three children, Ray Jr., Brinda and Linda. Their first 10 years of marriage they lived back and forth between California and Oklahoma. Then in 1954 they made Noble, OK their home for good. Mary soon began working at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman where she stayed until she retired in 1985.

For the past 35 years she has been a faithful member and prayer warrior at Liberty Gospel Tabernacle church east of Slaughterville.

Mary will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a fabulous cook and seamstress. She was a member of the “Red Hatters” and in her later years she has enjoyed volunteering her time at Circle the Wagon's Ministries Free Food and Clothing Pantry in Lexington.

Mary was preceded in death by: Parents: Clyde and Lettie Moore, 1 sister: Lovie Juanita Warren, 3 brothers: Pony Son Moore, Frank Rufus Moore and James Roger Moore,

She is survived by: Husband: Ray Waldron Sr. of the home, 1 son: Ray Waldron Jr. and wife Ruth of Noble, 2 daughters: Brinda Thomas and husband Tom of Noble, Linda Simpson and husband Larry of Lexington, 13 grandchildren: Denna Repp and husband Scott of Phoenix, AZ, Tina Geiger and husband Aaron of Grants Pass, OR, Wendy Barnes and husband Jim of Noble, Chuck and Jennifer Thomas of Noble, Angela Ross and husband Mike of McCloud, Terresa Ellison and husband Loyd of Carney, Lynnda Simpson and fiancé Dave Trevathane of Evergreen, CO, Amber Slavings of Noble, Adam Brock Morrison and wife Rexann of Overbrook, OK, Tarra Jones and husband Dustin of Key West, FL, Debra K. Harris and husband John of Naperville, FL, Cheryl Lynn Talbot of Sarasota, FL, Kimberly Borchers and husband John of Sarasota, FL. 17 great grandchildren: Ahsley Repp, Randy Sarver, Ryan Sarver, Ryann Barnes, Cooper Barnes, Lane Thomas, Kinley Thomas, Gage Thomas, Eli Thomas, Chase Simpson, Frankie Ellison, Kimberly Ross, Courtney Ross, Katherine Ross, Devyn Slavings, Craig Slavings, Dominick Carrigan, Ariauna Jones, Caitlynn Jones, Elizabeth Jones and Abigail Mary Jones. 3 great great grandchildren: Alexis and Alycia Espinoza and Hunter Sarver. Also several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Liberty Gospel Tabernacle, Lexington, OK. Interment will be at the Fairview-Maguire Cemetery, Noble, OK. Arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com
