Duke Hightower, age 54 of Norman, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Norman Regional Hospital.

Justin Duke Hightower was born March 7, 1963 in Jefferson City, MO. He was the middle son of Robert Glyn Hightower and Barbara June (Houts) Hightower. He was raised in the Linsdsay/Maysville area where he attended school. Duke worked most of his life as a hydraulic diesel mechanic, and was really a jack of all trades. He could fix anything and made a living doing so. When not working, you could find him on the farm. Duke loved baling and cutting hay, and he never missed a good auction. On March 4, 2010, Duke and Genna were married in Cook County, TX. He was the proud father of two children, Rebecca and John Brock. Duke loved life, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Robert Glyn Hightower and Barbara June Bryant.

Duke leaves behind: His wife, Genna of the home; Children, Rebecca Hightower and Layne Ricketts of Cromwell, OK; John Brock Hightower of Cromwell; Stepson, John Hill and wife, Jessica of Noble, OK; Brothers, Gary Greeson and wife Dora of Glenpool, OK and Britt Hightower and wife Betty of Lindsay; Several aunts and uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 11, 2017, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
