Turner, Pam, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born August 4, 1955 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Paul and Mona Jean (Holdge) Berndsen.  She was united in marriage on May 19, 1989 in Norman, Oklahoma to John Turner.

Pam didn't get as many years on earth as most of us would have liked, but the time she spent with each of us has completely changed our lives.  She was committed to education and spent the past 8 years working for Norman and Moore Public Schools.  She enjoyed shopping, reading, motorcycle rides, dinners with friends and planning all kinds of practical jokes.  She had a huge heart and had a deep love for her friends and family.

Pam is survived by her husband, John Turner of the home; her parents, Paul and Mona Jean Berndsen; daughters, Terri Bryan of Edmond, Jessica Turner of Norman, Susan Madden and husband Thomas of Simsboro, LA, and Tammy Bryan of Ruston, LA; brothers, Robert Berndsen and wife Kathy of Marlow, OK and Roy Berndsen and wife Nancy of Fort Cobb, OK; sister, Paula Turney and husband Marvin of Richardson, TX; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Ramirez, J.D. Worley and Setde Torralba; and her mother and father-in-law, Slim and Ann Orr.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Gladys Berndsen and Alene and Howard Holdge; aunt Daisy Vaughan; sister-in-law, Luanna Turner; and nephew, Reno Orr.

Donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Oklahoma, Attn:  Derek Cain Development Director, 6835 S. Canton Ave., Tulsa, OK 74136.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012 with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 in the Chapel of the Havenbrook Funeral Home with interment following in the Denver Cemetery
.  Arrangements for Pam and her family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
