Ronald Carl Tritten, 86, of Norman, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 17, 2020. He was surrounded by his beloved wife and cherished children. He was born to Carl and Emily Tritten on March 21, 1933, in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Midwest City High in 1952.

On June 19, 1954, he married the love of his life Bobbie Jean Greenhaw. To this sweet union was added Ronald (Ronnie) Carl Tritten II on Oct. 17, 1955, James Kelvin Tritten on May 16, 1957, Kathy DeAnn (Tritten) Childers on Sept. 13, 1959, and Karen Lynne (Tritten) Quartuccio on Sept. 28, 1960.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and beloved son Kelvin on Jan. 15, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie; his children Ronnie and wife, Vanessa of Burleson, TX, Kathy and husband, Jerry of Seminole, OK, and Karen and husband, Chuck of Norman; sisters, Ruth Menefee and Donna Whitbeck of OKC, Sue Cartwright of Saginaw, TX, and brother, Roy Tritten of Norman; 8 grandsons, Jared and wife Jamie Childers, Scott and wife Mia Childers, Justin and wife Alana Childers, Josh and wife Wendy Gage, Christopher Gage, Aaron and wife Kimberly Tritten, Tyler and wife Amber Tritten, Stephen and wife Joselyn Quartuccio; and granddaughter, Arielle Quartuccio; and 15 great grandkids. He is also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, PaPa, & Poppy.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 PM on January 24, 2020, Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St, Norman. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM on January 25, 2020, at Hilltop Baptist Church, 11710 E. Stella Rd, Norman, OK 73026. Interment will follow at Blackburn Cemetery.
