Graveside services for Lana Milam will be held on Thursday, March15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sugar Creek Cemetery North of Soper, OK with Rev. Tim Harless officiating. Lana passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 54. Lana Milam was born on April 19, 1957 in Dumas, TX. She married Tommy "Tuck" Milam Jr. on November 15, 1993, in Paris, TX. Lana had worked for the Department of Tourism as an accounting clerk at the McGee State Park for almost twenty years. Lana loved to paint, crochet, and watch her grandsons play soccer and baseball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tuck Milam Jr. in 2009 and son, Barry Pearson.
Lana is survived by daughter, Cassie Grace and husband, Stephen of Soper, OK; son, Rocky Milam of Boswell, OK; mother, Lillie Head of Vinita, OK; brothers, Derrial Head and wife, Chanda of Shallowater, TX and Dwain Head and wife, Linda of Centerpoint, OK; sister, Lesa Morris and husband, Chris of Vinita, OK; three grandchildren, Caleb Grace, Canaan Grace and Corban Grace all of Soper, OK special nieces and nephews; and special friend, her dog, Bitsy, a Chihuahua.
