Funeral services for Dorothy Logan will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Soper Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Mosher officiating and burial following in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.

Dorothy passed from this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 67. Dorothy Logan was born January 13, 1943 in Soper, OK, the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle (Craft) Lester. She graduated from Soper High School and married Rogene Logan on October 21, 1961 in Soper, Oklahoma. They moved to Dallas where she began work as an Administrative Assistant. She worked in Dallas for eight years before they moved to Denison in 1967. She worked in the same position for the City of Dallas, Denison Public Schools, Southwestern Bell, and Horizon Dental Center before her retirement. In her spare time she loved to oil paint.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Darlene Moore; one brother-in-law: Don Logan; one sister-in-law: Sherma Lester.

Dorothy is survived by her husband: Rogene Logan of the home; one daughter: Shauna Voth of Denison, TX; two grandchildren: Eron Ferguson and his wife Shaye of Wichita, KS, Derek Voth of Denison, TX; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Troy & Carol Lester of Denison, TX, Delbert & Judy Lester of Soper, OK, Ronnie & Sue Lester of Savoy, TX, Donnie Lester of Hugo, OK; extended brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law: Nell Simpson of Soper, OK, Butch & Surilda Logan of Soper, OK, Harold & Meda Logan of Enid, OK, Arlene Logan of Lewisville, TX; numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, Oklahoma.

The family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Sugar Creek Cemetery Association.
