Funeral services for Lee Floyd will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Soper School Gymnasium with Rev. Larry Minchey officiating and burial following in Sugar Creek Cemetery North of Soper, Oklahoma.

Lee Floyd, of Soper, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the age of 35. Lee was born March 24, 1974 in Dallas, Texas and had lived in the Soper area most all his life. Lee graduated from Soper High School and married Jennifer Allen on July 14, 1995 in Boswell, Oklahoma. He worked as a Sergeant at the McLeod Honor Farm for the past three years. Lee enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, working on motors, re-loading ammo, but loved being with his kids.

Lee is survived by his wife: Jennifer Floyd of the home; three children: Evan Floyd of Soper, OK, Ashley Floyd and Randy Lee Floyd both of the home; his father: Earl Lee Floyd Sr. of Hugo, OK; one brother and sister-in-law: Tim & Linda Floyd of Topeka, KS; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Lanelle and Brandon Manire of Haworth, OK, Jennifer and Dewayne Cunningham of Mena, AR; six nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
