Funeral services for Timmy Shawhart will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Stephanie Gordon sharing family memories and comments. Burial will follow at Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma. Timmy passed away Monday, March 21, 2016, in Hugo, OK, at the age of 64.

Timmy Darrell Shawhart was born August 24, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Clemmy Eugene & Geneva (Thomas) Shawhart. He grew up in California but moved to this area in 1971. He married Darla Jean Knight on December 2, 1972 in Hugo, OK, and together, they were co-owners of Big Valley Sand & Gravel, which they began in 1978. Timmy loved old cars, going to swap meets, and working, working, working.

Timmy is survived by his daughter, Tiffany White and her husband, Danny, of Paris, TX; one grandson, Cade Shawhart; brothers and sisters include Glenn and Kathy Shawhart, and Pam and Sam Shawhart; nieces and nephews, Sammy Shawhart, Roy Shawhart, Kenneth Shawhart, Heather Doane, Madison Doane, Kelsey Randall, and Katlyn Shawhart; great-nieces and great-nephews, Preston Shawhart, Dara Shawhart, Blake Shawhart, Breanna Self, Jackson Self, Jazlyn Randall, Trinity Randall, Kymberlyn Shawhart, and Lyrica Shawhart; numerous other relatives, as well as a host of friends.
