Funeral services for Shauntele Moffitt will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Rev. Donnie Knight officiating, and burial following in the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma. Shauntele passed peacefully from this life surrounded by family on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 50 years of age.

Treccia Shauntele Moffitt was born April 24, 1962 in Hugo, OK, the daughter of William "Sonny" Knight and Velma Jean (Booth) Knight. She had lived in this area all her life and had worked as a Department Manager for Wal-Mart for 17 years. In addition she worked with Gentiva Home Health caring for area residents in their homes. Shauntele enjoyed gardening, working in flower beds, and scrap booking with family pictures. She loved the outdoors, socializing with her big family and grandchildren, and having cook outs with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Roland Dave Knight; and one sister, Patricia Knight.

Shauntele is survived by one daughter, Tasha Marie Moffitt-Ward and son-in-law Charlie Ward of Hugo, OK; one son, Anthony Blake Moffitt of Hugo, OK; her grandson, Charlie "C.J." Wess Ward Jr. of Hugo, OK; sister, Margaret Loftin and husband Lynn of Messer, OK; foster sister, Brenda Goodson and husband Charlie of Antlers, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
