Funeral services for Ross Baze will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Ft. Towson, OK with Rev. Jerry Kendrick officiating and burial following in the Spencerville Cemetery.

Ross passed away Friday, August 10, 2012, at the age of 24. Ross Baze was born May 6, 1988, in Antlers, Oklahoma, the son of Charley Baze and Ruthy Trezise. There are very many things that Ross enjoyed to do. It’s actually kind of hard to think of something Ross didn’t enjoy. He enjoyed being around friends and family, no matter what was going on as long as he wasn’t alone he enjoyed it. He loved anything and everything that had to do with music, from listening to it to trying to teach himself how to play music on the piano and guitar. He also loved to sing and was very good at it. He enjoyed fishing, but not hunting he never wanted to kill an animal. Ross loved basketball although he didn’t play a whole lot here lately he still talked about how much he enjoyed the sport. Ross was always reading information books and watching anything that would teach him something new. He loved having halo dates with Levi. He loved anything and everything he ever did with his mom and dad.

He was preceded in death by his half sister, Naomi June Baze in 1985; aunt, Naomi.

Ross is survived by his father, Charley Baze of Ft. Towson, OK; mother, Ruthy Trezise of Rattan, OK; step-mother, Eva J. Baze; grandmother, Greta Trezise of Bristol, PA; half brother, Charles Earl Baze Jr. of Sawyer, OK; half sister, Dawn Marie Bond of Sawyer, OK; step-sister, Melinda Boyett; step-brothers, Jimmy and Michael Boyett; aunt, Jo Katherine; aunt and uncle, Juanell and Lynn; nephew, Jordan Boyett.
