Funeral services for Evelyn Fern Wynn will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Soper Assembly of God Church, burial following in the Soper Cemetery.

Evelyn died in Oklahoma City, OK on November 2, 2009 at the age of 75. Evelyn Fern Wynn was born February 11, 1934 in Soper, OK, the daughter of Alvin Richard and Golie (Vaughn) Henson. She had lived in the Soper area all of her life. She married James Eugene Wynn on August 13, 1949 in Soper, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, quilting, crocheting, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James Eugene Wynn in 1996; two sons: Donnie Wynn and Royce Wynn; one brother: Alvin Henson.

Evelyn is survived by five sons: Larry and wife Jeanie Wynn of Ravia, Ok; Bob Wynn, Cameron Wynn, DeeRay Wynn, and Gary Wynn all of Soper, OK; one daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and Jerry Pierce of Boswell, OK; daughter-in-law: Bobbie Wynn of Hugo, OK; one brother: Elmer Henson of Corinth, TX; four sisters: Althae Alder of Soper, OK, Faye Chapman of Lancaster, TX, Nora Henson of Dallas, TX, Dixie Hale of Forest Chapel, TX; eleven grandchildren: Christy Ellington, Joe Pierce, Kari Pierce, Misty Barnes, Jeana Wynn, Danny Wynn, Jerry Gilley, Robin Gilley, Lisa Gilley, Alex Gilley and Leslie Gilley; twenty great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
