William Paul Hutchings was born on 3 Sep 1826 in Pittsylvania Co, VA, a son of Samuel O. Hutchings and Lucy Robertson. He married Lucinda W. Cruse on 3 Nov 1853 in Cedartown, Polk Co, GA and they had 5 children in Polk Co, GA. They arrived in Lamar Co, TX in 1866 and the other 5 children were all born in Lamar Co, TX. William died in the Broadway Township, Lamar Co, TX on 4 Apr 1893 and is buried in the McDonald Cemetery there. Lucinda, after 1900, moved into Indian Territory [Choctaw Co, OK] and died there on 2 Feb 1908. Her burial is in Shoat Springs Cemetery near Hugo in Choctaw Co, OK. This couple have, at least, 1360 descendants we have been able to identify as of 13 Aug 2010
