Graveside services for Haley Harwood will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shoat Springs Cemetery in Hugo, OK with Rev. Burgie Thompson officiating. Haley Elizabeth Harwood was born September 1, 1922, the daughter of Charley and Francis (Clark) Hamill. She passed away Saturday, March 21 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Haley had lived in Hugo for over forty-five years. She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church, enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, and crotchet. She was preceded in death by one son: Jimmy Harwood, three brothers, and two sisters. Haley is survived by two daughters: Joyce Holland of Grand Prairie, TX and Janie Harwood of Ada, OK; one son: Bill Harwood of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Danny Holland, Amy Harwood-McCartney, Todd Harwood, Ryan Harwood, and three great-grandchildren: Dillon Harwood, Jillian Harwood an Trevor McCartney. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey funeral home in Hugo, OK.
