Graveside services for Ruth Doris Robertson will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Ron Pickard officiating. Ruth passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 93.

Ruth Doris Robertson was born October 29, 1919, in Bennington, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles Henry and Hazel Fay (Phillips) O'Bannon. She lived in this area most of her life. She was a school teacher during World War II. Ruth retired as an inspector from Texas Instruments in Sherman, TX. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and she loved to bake. She was a member of the Apostolic Jesus Name Church in Boswell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Sterling Richard Robertson Jr.; one brother; two sisters.

Ruth is survived by one son, Royce Harold Robertson of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, Ray Linden O'Bannon of Boswell, OK; five grandchildren, Sterling Edward Robertson, Earl Chad Robertson both of Boswell, OK, Joshua Harold Robertson, Terah Annette Avery, Mary Beth Evans all of Oklahoma City, OK; six great-grandchildren, Joshlyn and Kristyn Robertson, Lauren and Natalie Avery, Ryan and Macy Evans all of Oklahoma City, OK.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 25, 2013, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
