Graveside services for Barbara Sue Milam will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma with Pastor Jesse West officiating. Barbara passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 74.

Barbara Sue Milam was born August 16, 1939 in Forney, Oklahoma, to Sam and Lillie (Herman) Harbuck. She married Tommy Ray Milam, Sr. on July 5, 1958 in Buckhorn, OK, leading to 56 years of marriage. She lived in this area all of her life. Barbara enjoyed sewing, crafts, and reading, and she loved family get-togethers and cookouts. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tommy Ray Milam, Jr.; six sisters, Flora Ralston, Christine Stephens, Jane Bell, Jennie Ray, Dorthy Harbuck, and Bonnie Fuller; and five brothers, Sam “Buddy” Harbuck, Jr., George Harbuck, Henry Gerald Harbuck, Henry Harold Harbuck, and Robert “Bobby” Harbuck.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Tommy Ray Milam, Sr., of the home; two sisters, Josephine Ponts and husband, Albert, of Ft. Bragg, CA, and Thalia Legg of Panama City, FL; three grandchildren, Rocky Milam of Boswell, OK, Raymond Milam and wife, Destiny, of Central Texas, and Cassie Grace and husband, Stephen, of Soper, OK; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

There will be a meal for the family held at Archey Baptist Church in Soper, Oklahoma at 12:30pm, following their morning services.
