Graveside services for Winster Elvin Gay will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK with Rev. Greg Mack officiating. Winster passed away Sunday, May 5, 2012, in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 78.
Winster Elvin Gay was born on February 18, 1934, in Rufe, OK, the son of Floyd Edward and Alma Charlottie (Christopher) Gay. He had lived in this area for many years and loved listening to christian music at the nursing home. He enjoyed moon pies, Dr. Pepper and bananas. Winster was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, C.E. Gay; two sisters, Versa B. Gay and Oleta D. Hampton.
Winster is survived by three brothers, Glen Gay of Hugo, OK, Leonard Gay and wife, Doris of Nashoba, OK and Reecie Gay and wife, Eula of Tecumseh, OK; one sister, Lola Williams of Hugo; numerous nieces and nephews.
