Funeral services for Alma Jean Renick Fluellen will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, OK with burial following in Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK with Bro. Tim Harless officiating. Jean passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Hugo, OK at the age of 86.
Jean was born on September 9, 1925 in Boswell, OK, the daughter of Mark and Alma (Moore) Steel. She was raised in the Boswell area and was a homemaker. Jean had a second chance at love and married Grover Fluellen late in life. Jean loved sewing and gardening.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grover Fluellen in 2004; one brother, Elsmer “Boy” Steel; and her first husband, Raymond Renick
Jean is survived by one son, Mike Renick and wife, Patricia of Boswell, OK; one granddaughter Shelly Renick of Boswell, OK; three great-grandsons, Shawn Kinser, Dylan Davenport and Jacob Davenport all of Boswell, OK; one sister, Pauline Self of Bowell, OK; niece, Jeannie Jones and husband Jake and Joey all of Boswell, OK.
The family will receive friends at the Riverside Unity Church in Boswell, OK from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2011
