Funeral services for Kenneth Ensey will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Life Tabernacle Church of Unger, Oklahoma with Rev. Bucky Ensey and Rev. Donnie Goodwin officiating and burial following in Restland Cemetery in Boswell, Oklahoma.

Kenneth Ensey passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009 in Durant, OK at the age of 65. Kenneth Ensey was born June 20, 1944 in Boswell, Oklahoma the son of Emmitt Bruce and Minnie Viola (Payton) Ensey. Kenneth has lived in the Boswell community most of his life.

He married Patricia Goodwin on December 13, 1968 in Boswell, OK. Kenneth enjoyed horses, rodeos and ranching but he earned a living as a heavy equipment operator, welder and carpenter. He was a member of the Life Tabernacle Church and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Kenneth loved life and firmly believed in living every day to its fullest. The last 15 years of his life his wife, children and grandchildren became his life. He loved them dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father: Emmitt "Doc" Ensey, his mother: Viola Ensey; brother: Johnny Lee Ensey; nephew: Ricky Lee Wilkins; brother-in-law: Wayne King; best friend: Jerry Ainsworth.

Kenneth is survived by his wife: Patricia Ensey of the home; two sons: Bucky Ensey and wife Vickie of Boswell, OK, Stoney Eldridge of Atoka, OK; one daughter: Toni Coates and husband Brian of Atoka, OK; one brother Ronnie Ensey of Boswell, OK; five sisters: Patsy Mitchell of Durant, OK, Norma Brown of Purcell, OK, Faye King of Soper, OK, Gail Scheetz of Sidney, MT, Vicky Ensey of Hugo, OK; six grandchildren: Sara Bevills, Denny Ensey, Dylan Ensey, Tamera Baxter, Lacey Magby, Jessica Eldridge; four great-grandchildren: Hunter Baxter, Tavin Baxter, Alexxys Magby, Meadow Richie; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel.
