Funeral services for Jonni L. Carnley will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel with Bro. Jarrod Wright officiating and burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK. Jonni passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Durant, OK, at the age of 71.

Jonni Leota Carnley, fondly known as “Lil’ Turkey”, was born April 8, 1944 in Graham, TX, to Walter John and Dorothy Lee (Wadley) Booth. She married David Richard “Sleepy” Carnley in May of 1960 in Graham, TX, and they lived in this area since 1981. Jonni worked in the nursing field but also worked for some time driving a cattle truck. She loved recording movies, watching television, teaching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and buying things off of TV. She was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Dorothy Booth, and two brothers, Dean Booth and Randall Booth.

Jonni is survived by her husband, David R. Carnley of Boswell, OK; her children, Debby Carlile of Hamilton, OH, David A. Carnley of San Antonio, TX, Daniel Carnley of Hugo, OK, and Angela King of Soper, OK; her sister, Sherry Kay Nabors of Graham, TX; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
