Funeral services for Ruby V. Wren will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Antlers, OK with Rev. Aaron Reed officiating and burial following in the Finley Cemetery in Finley, OK.

Ruby Vernice Wren was born March 31, 1930, in Finley, Oklahoma, to Buster and Minnie Bell (Pool) Smith. She passed from this life April 4, 2014, in Antlers, OK, at the age of 84.

Ruby married William "Pete" Wren August 25, 1948, in Paris, TX. She grew up in Finley, OK and Snow, OK and moved to Missouri and returned to Snow in 2003.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: W.M. "Pete" Wren; brothers: Granviell Gean Donham, Jack Hugh Smith, Harvey Jerimiah "Sonny" Smith, and Truman Harold "Joe" Smith; sister: Glenda Gail Smith Atchley; maternal grandparents: Granviell Mobley Pool and Tennie Isabell Parrott Pool of Snow, OK; Her paternal grandparents: Charlie and Minerva Boling Smith of Finley, OK; one son: "Baby Boy Wren" and daughter: Cheryl Diane Wren.

She is survived by one son: Randall H. Wren and his wife Pam of Aurora, CO; sister: Pamela Kay Smith of Antlers, OK; a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
