Memorial services for Larry Eugene Wilson will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites 2501 Conference Dr. Norman, OK.

Larry passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 65. Larry Eugene Wilson was born March 12, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to George Anderson and Lydia Lee (Martin) Wilson. He married Janelle Kay McClellan on June 16, 1984, at Ray Trent Park in Del City, OK. Larry served his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967. He had lived in the Oklahoma City, Hugo and Shawnee areas all of his life. Larry had worked as a civil engineer for Tinker Air Force Base and was a master Renovator. He was a member of the Army Rangers. Larry was a mentor, great husband, father and grandfather. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, pop bottle collecting and making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lydia (Martin) Wilson; three brothers, David Wilson, Jim Howser, and Abe Howser; one sister, Pauline Wilson; step-father, Ray Howser.

Larry is survived by his wife, Janelle Wilson of the home; two sons, Gary Wilson and Randy Wilson; two daughters, Jeri Remington and Lori Hudson; two sisters, Geogia Elliot and Caroline Howser; four brothers, Ben Wilson, Don Wilson, Robert Howser, and Paul Howser; and many more; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
