Cynthia Freeman passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 in Paris, TX at the age of 60. Private services for the family will be held at a later date.

Cynthia Freeman was born September 21, 1950 in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willard Usery & Loretta (Crain) Freeman. Cynthia graduated from Hugo High School in 1968. Cynthia lived in this area all of her life, and she worked as a legal secretary and as a home-health and hospital nurse. Cynthia attended the Antlers Church of Christ, and she enjoyed playing the guitar and drums and running marathons. She ran various marathons across the country, including the 26-mile Boston Marathon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Mary Freeman in 2005.

Cynthia is survived by longtime special friend, Jack Shenkner of Edmond, OK; one brother: Lynn Freeman & wife, Rita, of Omaha, TX; two sisters: Rita Sue Williams & husband, Paul, of Hugo, OK, and Donna Nash & husband, Lanny, of Hugo, OK; numerous nieces & nephews and many dear friends.
