Celebration of life for Lenette “Grammy” Griffin Cofer will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Joey Brindley officiating. Lenette passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 66.

Lenette “Grammy” Griffin Cofer was born September 18, 1949, in Idabel, Oklahoma. She had lived in this area for the past 35 years after moving here from Idabel, OK. She was a social butterfly, and never met a stranger, especially meeting people at Walmart. She also loved scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eliece Griffin; sister, Rita Vandergriff and brother, Ross Griffin.

Lenette is survived by the love of her life, James Cofer, Jr. of the home; son, Michael Paul Cofer and wife, Rachel and daughter, Maya; daughter, Felicia Davidson and her friend, Larry Chauncey and his mother, Kay Woolman; sister, Sandra Gregg and husband, Charles of Hugo, OK; sister-in law, Janie Griffin; two brothers-in-law, Eddie Vandergriff of Hugo, OK and Paul Cofer of Hutchison, Kansas; grandchildren, Allison McCoy, Chase Priddy, Tesslyn Davidson and Cody Morgan; great-grandchild Tuff Priddy, which she called "her sunshine"; niece, Mary Adams and husband, Michael; great-niece, Mikayla Adams; and best friend, Barbara Sheaffer.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo, OK.

The family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
