Graveside services for Sue Smith will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00pm at Grant Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Lane officiating. Nola passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 81.

Nola Sue Smith was born May 30, 1934 in Grant, Oklahoma, to Layfette and Elizabeth (Sims) Wyatt. She lived in this area her entire life. Sue married Robert Lee Smith on November 24, 1952. Sue was a lifelong member of Grant Baptist Church. She was known and respected by many through owning and operating Smith's Grocery in Grant, OK, and she loved the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Smith; her parents, Layfette & Elizabeth Wyatt; her son, Jerry Wayne Smith; and five siblings.

Sue is survived by one son, Glenn Smith & wife, Alice, of Grant, OK; three daughters, Terry McClain & husband, Gary, of Grant, OK, Teresa Allen of Mexia, TX, and Bobbie Cabra of Galaten, MO; thirteen grandchildren, John Holman of Rio Rico, AZ, Michael Holman of Gallatin, MO, Sheila Curtis of Gallatin, MO, Bobbie Gail Watkins of Gallatin, MO, Karen Cooper of Hugo, OK, Alicia Drake of Grant, OK, Rebecca Smith of Hugo, OK, Chris Mathis of Colleyville, TX, Kimberly Parsons of Soper, OK, Kara Thompson of Grant, OK, Kandyce Thompson of Hugo, OK, Kristen Harris of Atoka, OK, & Ashley McClain of Paris, TX; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous family & friends.
