Lorene (Max) Davidson

Lorene Davidson, age 96, of Petrolia, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 25, 2008. She was born June 1, 1912, in Madill, OK, the daughter of the late Otto J. and Florence (Blair) Max.

Lorene married Wesley Davidson on September 10, 1930. They were married for sixty-two years before he passed away. She was a homemaker and lived in Grant, OK before moving to Petrolia, TX, where she has lived for the past twelve years.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Wesley Davidson; one daughter: Melba McElreath; one son: Jamie Davidson; one granddaughter: Vickie Wallace; four brothers, Lee Max, Tom Max, Eddie Max and Freddie Max; two sisters: Hazel Max and Donnie Wilson.

She is survived by four sons: Joe Davidson and his wife, Verna, Odie Davidson and his wife, Janice all Delphos, Kansas, Maxie Davidson and his wife, Mary, of Petrolia, TX and Tommy Davidson of Wichita Falls. Texas; eleven grandchildren: twenty great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. j
< br> A celebration of Lorene's life will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prater Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, OK with Rev. William Carnley officiating with burial to follow burial at the Grant Cemetery in Grant, OK.
