Funeral services for H.B. Pulliam will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clayton Avenue Baptist Church in Hugo, Oklahoma, with Bro. Britt Lesley officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma.

H.B. passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 73. Hank B. Pulliam was born March 11, 1938, in Sawyer, Oklahoma, the son of E.P. “Pops”¯ & Essie Mae (Stogsdill) Pulliam. He was raised in this area and has lived here since 1967, having moved here from Euless, Texas after working 12 years as a machinist. H.B. owned and operated the Red Front Grocery Store in Hugo for over twenty years. In addition, he worked doing small engine repair and selling used cars for about ten years.

He married Judith Ann (Bell) Davis in Paris, TX on June 13, 1980.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Exie Pulliam; two brothers, Archie Pulliam and Gaylon Vinson Pulliam; one sister, Adessa Davidson. H.B. is survived by his wife, Judith Pulliam of the home; one son, Brian Pulliam of Hugo, OK; two step-sons, Bud Davis and Sam Davis both of Hugo, OK; two sisters, Ellen Collier and Rachel Cleveland, both of Pottsboro, TX; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2011, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
