Graveside services for Marlin “Hank”¯ Hendricks will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Towson Cemetery with Rev. Benny Hammons officiating.

Hank passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the age of 88. Marlin “Hank”¯ Hendricks was born February 26, 1921 in Vinita, Oklahoma the son of Thomas Leonard and Venia (Chute) Hendricks.

Hank married Inez Wells in Hugo, Oklahoma and then made their home in Ft. Towson, Oklahoma. Hank served his country during World War II in the Navy; he also worked in construction as a laborer and provided maintenance on equipment. Hank was always tinkering with something, giving a hand to help others out. He always had a large garden, supplying produce to many friends and neighbors all over town. You could always find Hank on his lawn mower, he loved spending time there.

Hank was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Inez in 2006; four brothers; five sisters.

Hank is survived by one son: Jimmy (Sullivan) Hendricks of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma; one grandson: Lance Sullivan and wife, Alanna of Ft. Towson, OK; one brother: Melvin Hendricks of Rushville, IL; two sisters: Juanita Crenshaw of Rushville, IL, Nina Merrill of Astoria, IL.
