Graveside services for Milton Rickman will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cloninger Family Cemetery in Speer, OK with Rickey Rickman officiating.

Milton passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011, in Hugo, OK, at the age of 61. Milton Allen Rickman was born January 22, 1950, in Princeton, Texas, the son of Otis and Mary (Freeman) Cloninger. He was raised in the Speer Community, attending the old rock school house. He married Joyce Pate on May 24, 1970, out on his parent's home place. Milton worked as a heavy equipment operator and mule skinner, but his favorite job was teaching his grandchildren "old school learning".

He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Rickman; and one sister, Darlene Wright.

Milton is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; one son, Rickey Rickman and wife Kelli of McAlester, OK; one daughter, Rachelle Holder and husband Porter of Soper, OK; his parents, Otis and Mary Cloninger of Speer, OK; seven grandchildren, Josh Rickman, Bryant Cole, Taylor Holder, Tryndi Holder, Kelsi Holder, Marissa Williams, Haylie Williams; two brothers, Butch Logan of Hugo, OK, Bryant Rickman of Speer, OK; two sisters, Sherrie Carlile and Sheila Dale both of Speer, OK.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 20, 2011, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Chapel in Hugo, OK.
