Marsha Kay Smith daughter of Walter and Sarah (Livingston) Whitson was born June 12, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life on March 16, 2008 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 4 days.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Ona Moore and Alene Brown, and 1 brother; Johnnie Whitson.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of over 27 years, Jerry Smith of the home in Tahlequah, OK, sons; Ron Roop of Plano, TX, Tim Roop of Newalla, OK, Chad Smith and wife Karen of Stilwell, OK, C.J. Smith and wife Shelly of Cabot, OK, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held Wednesday March 19, 2008 in the Green Country Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Tatum officiating.

Interment followed in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
