TAHLEQUAH — Graveside services for J. Lynn Simmons will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 13, in the Tahlequah City Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Harley Disheroon. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Jacqueline "Lynn" Simmons was born July 27, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on July 27, 2011, at the age of 50.

She was a graduate of Oaks High School and attended Conners State College for a short time. Lynn was of the Baptist faith, and was working as a Home Health Care provider at the time of her passing.

Lynn is survived by her parents, Jerry L. and Pearl B. (Butler) Simmons of Tahlequah; her daughter, Victoria Bell and her husband of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Coby and Gabbie; her brothers, sisters, and their families, Bill and Laurie Hatfield, Rex and Michelle of Muskogee and Tahlequah; J. Lonnie Simmons of Sioux Falls, S.D.; his son, J.J. Simmons of Tulsa; Jamie, Vina and Jadrian Simmons of Dutch Harbor, Ark.; Chad and Jennifer Cross, and Jaice, Jake and Seth Cross all of Fort Scott, Kan.; Jarrod and Jerry Welch, and sons Caleb and Kyle of Tahlequah; Jason and Tressa Simmons, and sons Caleb and Justin Simmons of Welling; Brandon and Erin Simmons of Tahlequah; a very special friend and nephew, Junior Butler and wife Amanda, and Emma Rae; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. Lynn will be greatly missed.
