TAHLEQUAH - Terry Grant was born in Muskogee on Nov. 27, 1953 to Sandra Delcyne Boswell Grant and Steve Grant and passed from this life on March 22, 2010 at the age of 56 years.

He married Donna Sue Thomas on May 13, 1988 in Tahlequah and they were later blessed with three sons, Austin, Brandon and Jason.

Terry was a devoted husband and proud father.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding his Harley, playing and listening to music. Terry liked the outdoors and spent many hours on the lake and river looking for arrowheads, fishing and boating.

He was a 1972 graduate of Tahlequah High School and the owner of Terry's Electric. He worked over 30 years in the Tahlequah community and trained many men in the electrical trade.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.B. and Lora Boswell and his father, Steve Grant.

Terry is survived by his wife of the home, Donna Grant; sons, Austin Grant and his fiancé Caitlin Ratliff, Brandon Simmons and his fiancé Erin Burnett, Jason Simmons and his wife Tressa and grandsons Jesten and Caleb Simmons; his mother, Delcyne Grant; brother, Kelly Grant and wife Jan; sister, Sandy Welch and husband Brian, all of Tahlequah; sister, Donna Grant of Muskogee along with numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends. The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Madison for everything he has done.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Terry Lynn Grant at 2 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at the New Life Worship Center of Tahlequah with Pastor Glen Carpenter and Lloyd Kester officiating. Interment will follow at the Tahlequah City Cemetery with Keith Moore, Trevor Garner, Clay Clark, Chris Cockman, Ray Goode, Rocket Ryals, Alan Borremans and Josh Gourd serving as pallbearers.
