Services for Kylee Lashay Murphy will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m., at Johnson Prairie Baptist Church.

Wake services are being held on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, from 6–8 p.m., at the Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will take place at Johnson Prairie Cemetery.

Kylee "Princess" Lashay Murphy was born on Aug. 26, 2010, in Tulsa, the daughter of Alan and Lucy (Jones) Murphy. Kylee possessed the sweetest smile and the brightest eyes. When she looked up into your face, you felt the love in that small face.

Kylee joined two brothers at home, where she watched cartoons with Dylan Kalil and Kasiah Alan Murphy. Kylee loved music and kept her collection of baby dolls and musical toys close by.

She loved being Daddy's "little girl" and Momma's "princess." She was content to be held and rocked and spent time with her family. A bright and beautiful angel, Kylee's little body was overcome by illness.

The angels came for Kylee on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, in Tulsa, with her loving family standing close by. Little Kylee was 13 months old.

Sleep well, little one; we will embrace again someday.

Kylee now rests with her grandparents, Howard and Rosie Ballard, Esiah Drywater, Deertrack and Peggy Jones and Bill and Beatrice Johnson; aunt Bodee Drywater; uncles Sam Murphy and Harold Jones; and cousins Mindy, Cindy, Kynzee and Cody.

Those left to cherish Kylee's memory include her daddy and momma, Alan and Lucy Murphy, and two brothers, Dylan and Kasiah, all of the home in Tulsa. She leaves her grandparents, Patricia Drywater and Ida Drywater of Hulbert, Tina and Leo Murphy of Tahlequah, and Gary and Rose Jones of Salina; aunts Kristy and husband Julian of Tahlequah, Jacklyn Masters and family of Hulbert, and Kim and Emery Jones of Salina; great–aunts Tina and Joey Hooper of Tahlequah, Laura and Sonny Davis of Chewey, Sue Houston of Tahlequah, Jenny and Bud Potts of Tahlequah, Lucy and Dan Chuculate of Tahlequah, and Rhonda and Anthony Bluebird of Florida; great-uncles Vince and Jaime Drywater of Hulbert, Gary and Clara Ballard of Okmulgee, Bill Johnson of Moodys, Bill, Joe, Ansen, George, Bobby, and Jeff Murphy with his wife Pam, all of Tahlequah, and Henry and Sally Murphy of Terlton, as well as many cousins, friends and loved ones.

Kylee will be forever cherished and greatly missed.
