Dow Len Buckner son of James Allen and Fanny Sue (Philpott) Buckner was born July 4th, 1969 in Tahlequah, OK and departed this life on May 21, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 46 years, 10 months and 17 days.

Dow was a graduate of Stilwell High School. He married Rachel Lecomte and to this union one son; Braden was born. Dow had a great love for his family and was a wonderful and very proud husband and father. He worked in maintenance at Baldor Electric for many years. He had a great love for fishing, hunting, playing legos, hot wheels, four wheeling and dirt track racing with Braden.

Dow was preceded in death by his mother; Sue Buckner, grandparents; Emert and Mary Philpott, Leland and Evelyn Buckner, father in law; Alan Vieira Jr.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Rachel Buckner and son Braden Buckner of the home in Stilwell, OK, father; Allen Buckner, sister; Suzan Asbill and husband Mickey and their son Devon Asbill all of Stilwell, OK, mother and father in law; Sue and Rusty Reed of Winslow, AR, brother in law; Allen Vieira and wife MJ and their son AJ of Sebattus, ME, sister in law; Claudia Costa of Beverly Hills, FL. Special friends; Jeff Holiman, Gary Littledeer, Daniel Peachey, James Joiner, Booger Davis, Jason Radtke, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016at Roberts/Reed-Culver  Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Jeff Brown and Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Barber Cemetery, Welling, Oklahoma.
