ARDMORE - William Edward "Billy" Freeman, 48, of Duncan died Saturday, March 15, 2003, in a Lawton hospital.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in New Covenant Fellowship Church in Ardmore with the Rev. Guy Scott officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home of Ardmore.

The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Billy was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Ardmore, to William M. "Bill" and Laverne June Jacobs Freeman. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1972.

He married Cindy Tate on Oct. 15, 1981, in Gilchrist, Texas.

Mr. Freeman was the former owner of Billy's Radiator. He enjoyed his work, along with his family, friends and fishing. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church.

He will be missed dearly, but we know he is looking down on us from Heaven.

Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Gwen Hagin of Duncan, Kristie Freeman of Mustang and Natalie Freeman of Duncan; a son, Aaron of Jacksonville, Fla.; his father and step mother, Bill and Karen Freeman of Ardmore; five brothers, Bobby Freeman and Mitchell Simmons of Concord, Calif., Ricky Freeman of Moore, Michael and Donnie Simmons, both of Ardmore; three sisters, Theresa Freeman, Michelle Simmons and Angel Freeman, all of Ardmore; four grandchildren, Kurston, Nathan, Landon and Isaac; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Iva June. Bearers will be Micky Repp, Mike Watts, Eddie and Ricky Stanley, Charles Newsom and Tommy Freeman Jr.
