Rosemary Tappe was born on September 16, 1925, in Yukon, and departed this life on February 6, 2017, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 91.

Rosemary, the daughter of Harry and Mary Tappe, was a resident of Prague. She grew up and attended school in Yukon, OK, graduating from Yukon High School. She had a career in banking for over 50 years. She enjoyed watching sports, being outdoors and spending time with her family. Rosemary was a devoted member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.

Her parents; nephew, Ronald Gene Tappe; niece, Janice Thomas; and sister-in-law, Rita Tappe preceded her in death.

Survivors include her nephews, Harold and Margie Tappe of Prague, OK, David and Katie Tappe of Shawnee, OK and Tom Thomas of Yorkville, New York; great nephews and nieces Jonathon Tappe, Matthew and Kylie Tappe, Christina and Ron Cook, Brian Tappe, David and Cindi Tappe, Reanna and Mike Orso, Amy Tappe, Andrew and Anita Thomas, and Janiece and Bill Kelly and numerous great great nieces and nephews.

A rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague. The Tappe family will receive friends following the rosary service until 8:00 PM

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with Father Phan Long officiating. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
