Laura Sue Peters Blount, 53, of Bethany, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 1991 at Baptist Medical Center.

Services were held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 9, 1991 in the Bill Merritt Chapel with interment in the Yukon Cemetery. Rev. Matt Koonce and Rev. Harry Robinson officiated.

Laura was born January 17, 1938 in Yukon. She grew up in Yukon and attended school there before moving to El Reno where she graduated.

She was a 29 years employee of AT&T, a member of First Baptist Church of Bethany, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Survivors include her husband, Neal of the home; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Phil Townsley, Brenda and Mike Cubertson, all of Oklahoma City, Linda and Ken Burdick of Lewisville, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Tara Turpin of Oklahoma City; her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Grady Ross, a twin sister, Mrs. Clyde {Clara} Ramsey of El Reno; a sister, Mrs. Dorsie {Ann} Huckabee of Jackson, Tennessee; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peters of Lubbock, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. David Peters of Whitehoue, Texas, 3 stepchildren, Mrs. Jerry {Trina} Hunter, Tim Blount of Oklahoma City, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Blount of Wayne, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.

Mrs. Blount was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Peters and stepfather, John Hietman.
