Glenda May Ayers Riley, 74, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020.

Glenda was born in Oakland, California on August 2, 1946, to Glen Vance Ayers and Oleta May Stamps Ayers. Glenda was a survivor of the Murrah building bombing in 1995. Graduated from Yukon High School and was a long-time resident of Yukon, Oklahoma. She retired from the Department Housing and Urban Development. Glenda was an awesome single mother that always put her children first. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.


Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Glen Vance Ayers
 

She leaves to cherish her memory her significant other; Delbert Hill of Del City, son; Ross Riley and wife, Vickie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and daughter; Valerie Davis and husband, Christin of Mount Vernon, Illinois, mother; Oleta May Ayers of Edmond, Oklahoma, siblings; Nellie Ayers Sizemore of Edmond, Oklahoma, Dale Ayers and wife, Susan of Edmond, Oklahoma, Ruth Wire and husband, Jimmie of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and G.V Ayers and wife, Sara of California, grandchildren; Jameson Riley and wife, Sabrina, Ian Riley and wife, Cassidy, Duncan Riley and Brewster Davis, and a host of nieces, and nephews.
 

A visitation for Glenda will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma, beginning at 12:00 PM and lasting until 8:00 PM.


In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6601 Broadway Ext, Suite 120, Oklahoma City, OK 73116 or the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, 620 N. Harvey Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102.
