A damage suit for $35,000 against the Rock Island railroad here, a jury in district court rendered a verdict for the defendant. The suit was brought against the U.S. Railraod administration by B.R. Pedigo, who charged the railroad with negligence in the death of his son, Elijah Pedigo, who was injured while unloading riprap one for the company at Bridgeport in October, 1919. A week after the accident, the son died in an El Reno hospital.
