Mom was born on January 26, 1942, in El Reno, OK.
She moved to Bakersfield at a young age. She attended Greenfield Elementary, and was a member of
the first graduating class at South High School. Mom was involved in student government, and a
cheerleader.
In 1960, she married Bernard Roy Easton. They began their family with the birth of their first
daughter, Natalie LaRay Easton in 1969. They completed their family with the birth of their
daughter, Annette Clarisse Easton in 1971. Janet was a truly devoted mom. Her main focus were her
daughters. Mom enjoyed taxing her girls to swimming, softball, volleyball and soccer. She was
involved with every aspect of our lives.
Mom was the happiest when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren! The sun rose and
set with her children. Mom never missed a game, practice, or program, and was our loudest
cheerleader.
We will truly miss her phone calls, and her constant worrying. Mom was always our designated
driver (Thanks, Mom).
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry King, Richard King; sister, Betty Philley;
father, Earl King; mother-in-law, Clarisse Easton and beloved friend, Marilyn Banducci.
Janet is survived by her husband, Bernard Roy Easton; her daughter, Natalie Swaim and husband,
Nick; daughter, Annette Tracy and husband, Todd (He gets the Kirby); grandchildren, Jackson Easton
Swaim, Ryan Easton Swaim, Clarisse Ann Tracy and coming soon, Baby Tracy; her dearest friends,
Raydean Garside and Barbara McManus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Cathie Easton, Pat and
Gary Rodden, George and Shirley Easton and many nieces and nephews (especially pickle). She is
also survived by her mother, Ann Miller.
Pallbearers are Todd Tracy, Nick, Jackson and Ryan Swaim, George Easton, Bill Easton, Gary Rodden
and Jimmy Garside. Flower girl, Clarisse Ann Tracy.
Mom, You Will Forever Be In Our Hearts. Always and Forever We Love You.
