Graveside services for Gail M. Bomgardner, 88 of Minco will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco. Rev. Eddie Critchfield of the Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno is officiating under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
Gail was born January 24,1917 at Minco to Otto and Hattie Bomgardner, he passed away on Sunday, February 27 at Tuttle. He had lived in the Minco area all of his life and graduated from Minco High School in 1935. Gail went on to join the Army National Guard and served in the 45th Infantry Division during WWII. Gail was an accomplished "Jack of all trades" and worked as a mechanic and carpenter through his life. He married Vera Lucille "Tootsie" Drew and to this union was born one son Leon "Hoppi" Bomgardner. "Tootsie" precedes him in death. He was also preceded by his parents Otto and Hattie Bomgardner; four brothers: Merle, Floyd, Quinten, and an infant brother.
Gail is survived by one son Leon "Hoppi" Bomgardner of Minco; two grandchildren: Jon Bomgardner of Minco and Julie Bomgardner of Memphis, Tenn; one great granddaughter: Brooklyn Bomgardner of Minco.
