Alma Rachel Garrett died Monday, December 29, 2003 in El Reno.

She was born to Charles Jefferson and Laura Belle (Martin) Garrett on March 6, 1922 in Cogar and was a former Minco resident.

Ms. Garrett was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Laura Garrett; seven sisters: Dollie, Agnes, Daisy, and Vady Garrett, Ruby Charlton, Etta Wilson, and Clara Coe.

She is survived by one brother: Lawrence Garrett of Mansfield, Texas; two sisters: Goldie Hall of Stillwater and Margie Olsen of Cleberne, Texas; nephews: Walter, Conn and Cecil Charlton.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Hazel Dell Cemetery in Minco, officiated by Rev. Eric Stock of the Union City First Baptist Church.

Arrangements were under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.
