Mary Elizabeth Williams died April 3, 2023, at St. Katharine Drexel Retirement Center in El Reno.


Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche.


Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 10, also at Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Cory Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
 

Mary was born May 14, 1929, in Okarche.

She lived in Oklahoma City during her career as a bookkeeper moving back to Okarche after her retirement from Mistletoe Express Service.

In 2014, she moved to St. Katharine.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Catholic Order of Foresters.

She was a cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews, John Williams, Diane Head and husband Bill, Anthony Williams and wife Jayme, and Kathy Hauenstein. They survive her.

She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews Charity Head, Aaron Head, Bethanie Head, Leah (Larry) Harris, Jessica (Jerod) Alford, Mercedes Williams, Tyler (Kristen) McCann and Megan (Mike) Bias; and great-great-nieces and nephews Lillian Harris, Easton Harris, Raylan Alford, Kyden McCann, Olivia McCann, Blake McCann, Tate Bias, Sage Bias and Cade Bias.


Mary was preceded in death by her parents Joseph F. and Philomena (Wiewel) Williams; brother and sister- in-law Pat and Eileen Williams; great-niece Keshia Williams; John’s wife Joan Williams; and Kathy’s husband Chuck Hauenstein.
