Pauline Marie Pruitt, 88, died February 25, 2015 in OKC. She was born April 1, 1926 in Banner, OK to Albert and Clara (Huggler) Heupel. She graduated in 1944 from El Reno High School and had perfect attendance all twelve years. Pauline was known for her exceptional hospitality skills and especially her baking and cooking. Every soul in Canadian county has tasted one of her delicious pies or meals. Her family operated the Silver Streams Hunting and Fishing Lodge in southwest Colorado and she also worked as a bookkeeper for an El Reno lumber yard and the Yukon National Bank. She married Steve Wilds in El Reno, OK. She later married Leonard Pruitt on Dec. 9, 2001 in El Reno.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Fredrick and George Heupel, a sister, Jacqueline Wiedeman, and a granddaughter, Emily Wilds.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard; sons, David Wilds and wife Jana of Yukon, Lynn Wilds and wife Gale of Bethany; sister, Freda Moffat and brother, Harry Heupel and wife Dean, all of El Reno; grandchildren, Deanna Wilds, Kimberly Sanford and husband Bo, Davilyn Valdez and husband Rich, Jared Wilds and wife Sarah, Chad Wilds and wife Megan, Aspen Huddleston and husband Brandon; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 3-5pm at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. Services will be Monday, March 2, 2:00pm at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3100 N. Rockwell, Bethany, with burial in El Reno Cemetery.
