William "Bill" Ware
June 17, 1935 ~ July 30, 2010


William "Bill" Ware, 75 of Anadarko, Oklahoma, was called home by the Lord on Friday, July 30, 2010 at his home.

He was born June 17, 1935 to Wilson and Pearl [Pewo] Ware in Apache, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Ft Sill High School with the class of 1954.

He served his country in the United State Army.

He was united in marriage to Rowena Whitehorse on July 27,1961 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, from this union was born five children.

He worked at Sequayah Carpet Mills, The Anadarko Daily News and Hobbs Automotive in Anadarko and the BIA roads department.

He was a member of O-Ho-Mah Lodge, the Kiowa Black Leggins and the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma. He was the lead dancer for the American Indian Music and Dance Show, and they had the privilege of traveling all over the United States doing doing their fancy dancing.

His greatest love was for his family. He was a avid fan of OU, Sooner's and the Dallas Cowboys foot ball teams. He was a very active man until his health began to fail him the past few months. He was a member of the Wares Chapel. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by: three sons: Matthew Ware and Jeffrey Ware both of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Jarrett Ware wife, Alyssa of Chickasha, Oklahoma, two daughters: Janice Pahcoddy and Janel Dunlap and husband, Charles of Anadarko, Oklahoma and adopted daughter: Barnetta LaBrada of Anadarko, Oklahoma, one brother: Thomas Mauchahty "Tom" Ware ll of Anadarko, Oklahoma, three adopted brothers: Millard Clark of St George, Utah, Larry Cole of Plano, Tex Herb Redbird of Anadarko, Oklahoma, three sisters: Frankie Ware and Marie Ware of Anadarko, Oklahoma Clarisa Shaw of Tuttle, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren: Brian Pahcoddy, Glenn Pahcoddy Jr., Crystal Cotter, Shana Garcia, Amber Ware, Jeff Ware Jr., Stonee Addisyn Whitehorse Ware and Isaac Matthew Ware.

six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Truman Ware and one sister, Patricia Ware.

Prayer service: 7:00 P. M.-Monday, August 2, 2010 Wares Chapel.

Service: 11:00 A. M.- Tuesday, August 3, 2010 Wares Chapel-Anadarko, Oklahoma Officiating: Rev. Marvin Delaware Rev. Monroe Tsatoke Certified Layman, Terry Ware.

Honorary Pallbearers: Herb Redbird, Johnny Sankadota, Tony Isaccs, Ben Ware, Bradley Ware, Bruce Neconie, Chester Tieyah Jr, R.G. Harris, Billy Pewo, Mike Leader.

Pallbearers, Kiowa Ton-Kon-Gah [Black Leggings].

Burial will be in Wares Cemetery west of Anadarko, Oklahoma, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
