Joseph James-Paul Jackson
August 23, 1991 ~ January 24, 2017


Joseph James-Paul Jackson was born on August 23, 1991 in Fairfield, CA, to Ronald Joseph Jr. and Jeannia Kay [Giblet] Jackson, He passed away on January 24, 2017 at his home in Binger, OK at the age of 25.

Joseph was raised in Rocky, Oklahoma running canyons. He graduated from Sentinel High School and helped his high school team to the state tournament his senior year of 2010.

Joseph was an avid reader. He would read the classics and critique the authors. He also loved modern fiction. He was very philosophical, loved music, movies, and was especially drawn to the written word. Joseph always put himself last. He had dreams of teaching literature; of having a son to teach to play baseball. He taught Tristan to play baseball and was a great cheerleader as Tristan's high school team won back to back state championships. He was faithful to encourage Rose in her songwriting and guitar playing. He was a caregiver who fiercely protected his mom and watched out for his younger siblings. He especially became close to little 8 month old Emma while caring for her. She loved him and took great joy in his attention. \

Survivors Include: his parents; Ronald and Jeannia Jackson siblings Ashley Kay Jackson, Tristan Nathaniel Jackson and Missouri Rose Jackson all of Binger, OK; Niece Emma Kay Lee Jackson of Binger, OK; grandparents Darlene Kay Giblet of Weatherford, OK, Ronald Joseph Jackson, Sr. and Darlene Rae Jackson of Vacaville, CA, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a grandpa, Donald Ray Giblet; great-grand mothers: Nina Bolon and Lenore Holman.

Services: First Baptist Church, Saturday, 2:00 PM, January 28, 2017, Binger, OK

Theodore R. "Ted" Jackson
October 27, 1927 ~ January 17, 2008


Funeral services for Theodore R. "Ted" Jackson, 80, of Binger were held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Binger Church of God with Rev Don Wright and Rev Ron Nelson officiating.

He was born October 27, 1927 to Robert William and Mabel [Reeder] Jackson in Binger and died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

He attended Centerville and Binger School.

He joined the United States Air Force om December 27, 1945 and received an honorable discharge on May 9, 1947.

He met and married the love of his life, Bobbie Warren on March 16, 1967 in Kingfisher. From this union came four children.

Ted was an employee of Caddo Electric Co-operative in Binger from May 15, 1947 where he started as a groundsman, then in 1964 became dispatcher until his retirement in December 1989.

Ted was a people person. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. He believed in a man earning an honest living.

He loved Bobbie's cooking and all the wonderful visits from the grandchildren.

The highlight of spring was his mushroom hunting. He knew where they grew and sometimes would even share some of the many he found.

He enjoyed going out to Caddo Electric and visiting with everyone, hanging out at Crainco with his buddies, especially Buddy Britton.

He unpired may baseball games at the Johnny Bench Field in Binger.

He loved to hunt squirrels and be in the outdoors.

He always took the time to hug your neck or shake your hand.

He was a member of the Binger Baptist Church since August 1956. He made the comment that he didn't know how anyone could be in the military and not believe in God.

Ted will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Everett, Alvin "Buster", Floyd and Raymond Jackson; and two sisters, Opal Jackson and Viola O'Daniel.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie of the home; two sons, Tom Jackson and wife, Kim, of Port Aransas, Texas and Dean Jackson and wife, Jodi, of Cordell; two daughters, Mary Mills and husband, Gary, of Binger and Jeannie Bledsoe and husband, Larry, of Minco’ grandchildren, Jeff McCollum, Rod and Brady Bledsoe, Daniel and JoAnna Jackson, Jordan and Marielle and Nate Jackson; great grandchildren, Mckenzi and Madison Burk/McMollum, Jorydanne and Mason Mills; one sister, Dee Schrantz of Carnegie; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends and other relatives.

Burial was in the Binger Cemetery under the direction of Binger Funeral Home
