Donna Joane [Harrison] William

Donna Joane Williams was born April 24, 1932, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Warren L. and Murl Etta [Oglesby] Harrison. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at her home south of Anadarko, at the age of 75.

A lifetime resident of Anadarko, Donna graduated from Anadarko High School in the Class of 1950. She and Clyde Vernon Williams were married on June 9, 1953, in Anadarko.

She went to work for the Caddo County Assessor's Office, where she stayed for 30 years.

Donna was a life-long member of the Anadarko Assembly of God Church, where she served as church pianist since she was a youngster. She had been on many cruises, and had traveled to Italy, Ireland and other European countries. She was a good cook and a great Mom.

Donna was preceded in death by here parents, two brothers, Thomas Eugene Harrison and Lovell O. Harrison, and one son, Dennis Warren Williams.

Survivors include her husband Clyd of the Anadarko home; three sons, Scott V. Williams and wife Carol of Chickasha; Mark K. Williams of Norman; and Kris Alan Williams and wife Christina of Okmulgee; three grandsons, Ryan Wood Williams of the United States Air Force in Guam; Harrison Scott Williams of Chickasha; and Walker Alan Williams of Okmulgee; three granddaughters, Alexia Nichole Williams of Norman; Baylee Michelle Williams of Chickasha; and Brooklyn Elise Williams of Okmulgee; her cousin Gloria (Hill) Morrison and husband Richard of Kingsville, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Kenley Williams and wife of Gore, Oklahoma, who were married in a double wedding with Clyde and Donna; Clydes relatives in Tennessee.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 1, at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery.
