Leon Eugene Mason

Leon Eugene Mason, 68, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, entered into rest Saturday, December 18, 2004, at his home.

Leon was born January 23, 1936, in Binger, Oklahoma, to Virgil Lee and Clara (Hartman) Mason.

He was a 1953 graduate of Binger High School and later joined the United States Army. Mr. Mason worked as a farmer and rancher.

He is survived by his best friend and companion, Wilma McCarty - Anadarko, OK, and her children, Kim and Jeff Ramsey and Amber Geer; one son, Skipper Mason - Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Lida Lee Hayes and husband, J.R. - Houston, Texas, Rozella Warden - Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, Dora Carter and husband, Benny - Anadarko, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Evan Ramsey, Grant Ramsey, and Hunter Geer; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Brenda Mason, and a brother-in-law, Clarence Warden.

Graveside Services: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2004, Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma. Officiating: Rev. Don Stewart.

Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma, under the direction of Smith-Hackney Funeral Home, Anadarko, Oklahoma.
