Beverly Jean [Kidwell] Hughes

Graveside service for Beverly Jean Hughes, age 62, of Verden, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko . Rev. Troy Taylor will officiate.

Beverly Jean Hughes was born the daughter of Floyd Kidwell and Lennie James Brake on Aug.17, 1950 in Anadarko. She died on Nov. 20, 2012 in Chickasha.

Beverly grew up in Anadarko and moved many places as they followed her father's work.

She married James Edward Hughes in 1966 in Pecos, Texas. They settled in Lubbock, Texas and were married 18 years.

In 1981, Beverly moved to Verden. She worked many years as a certified nurses' assistant and a cashier at a convenience store in Verden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dale Kidwell. Survivors include a daughter and husband: Brenda Kay Martin and Jack, of Verden; son: James Fieldon Hughes of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren: Kamri Breann Martin, Cassie Lynn Martin, Jesse James Hughes and Colton James Hughes.

Service is under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
